Process water testing

Process water testing

Analysis of process water to evaluate quality and compliance with current regulations

We carry out comprehensive analyses of process water using advanced methods to assess quality and compliance with current regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.

Our services cover a wide range of critical parameters to ensure the safety and purity of water used in pharmaceutical processes.

Service offered in collaboration with and developed by AGQ Labs Costa Rica

Process water testing

  • Total Organic Carbon (TOC): We determine the total organic carbon content to assess organic contamination in the water, a crucial parameter for purified water quality.
  • Conductivity: We measure the water’s ability to conduct electricity, which indicates the presence of dissolved ions and water purity.
  • pH: We evaluate the water’s acidity or alkalinity, essential to ensure proper conditions in sensitive pharmaceutical processes.
  • Heavy Metals: We perform metal analyses using techniques such as ICP-MS to detect and quantify heavy metals and other trace elements that may affect water quality.
  • Ions: We determine the concentration of inorganic ions, such as chlorides, sulfates, nitrates, among others, which can influence water composition and safety.
  • Microorganisms: We conduct microbiological analyses to detect indicator microorganisms, ensuring the absence of microbial contamination that could compromise water integrity.
  • Bacterial Endotoxins: We measure the presence of bacterial endotoxins using sensitive methods, guaranteeing that the water meets the purity standards required for pharmaceutical applications.
